CEREAL NUMBER

01. SERIAL STICKER

Description
A sticker displaying the serial number, typically affixed to the interior of the bag.

Evolution
Included with products manufactured up until around 2021.

The number of digits and the design vary depending on the production era, serving as a crucial factor in authenticity verification.

02. AUTHENTICITY CARD

Description
A card featuring gold-colored edging and the same serial number found on the bag.

Current Status
Discontinued around 2021; these are no longer issued.

03. IC CHIP

Description
The latest authenticity verification system, introduced around 2021 to replace the serial sticker.

Mechanism
An IC chip is embedded within a small metal plate inside the bag; a unique product code can be read by scanning the plate with a dedicated reader. Scanning is possible only with dedicated store terminals.
